Get a New Smile in Half the Time
Metal wires and braces can get in the way of your smile and diminish your self-confidence. Here at Today’s Dentistry, we provide a more discreet, comfortable alternative to traditional metal braces – Invisalign® clear aligners.
You’ll get a new set of Invisalign aligners every two weeks and all you have to do is wear them. The easy-to-use aligners are custom-made just for you and will comfortably guide your teeth into the perfect position. Unlike metal braces that restrict your diet, Invisalign aligners are completely removable so you can eat all of your favorite foods.
They’re Fast, Comfortable & Practically Invisible.
There are many advantages that come with clear aligners from Invisalign:
You’ll be able to clean your teeth much easier than if you were wearing metal braces.
The aligners are nearly invisible, so people won’t even know you’re wearing them.
The thin, flexible material of these clear aligners are designed for maximum comfort.
You can still enjoy your favorite foods.
Invisalign can be used to treat almost all of the same issues as metal braces.
On average, Invisalign treatment takes about half as long as traditional braces.
If you have a habit of clenching or grinding your teeth, clear aligners can function as a nightguard to protect your teeth from excessive wear.

How Invisalign Works
Invisalign clear aligners work the same way traditional braces do, by applying gentle force to your teeth to shift them into proper alignment. But they are not made of metal – instead, they’re made of clear, flexible plastic. Getting a perfect new smile with Invisalign is a step-by-step process that includes:
- You’ll meet with Dr. Burneson for your free consultation.
- If you and Dr. Burneson decide on Invisalign during your consultation, we can go ahead and take digital impressions. We’ll share this information with the Invisalign laboratory so they can start making your aligners.
- Invisalign uses your impressions to create a series of virtually invisible aligners made from their exclusive SmartTrack material. they’re custom-made to gently and gradually shift your teeth into perfect alignment.
- Your custom-made aligners are delivered to our Ashland office where you can pick them up at your convenience.
- Each set of aligners is worn for one to two weeks. Unlike regular braces, Invisalign aligners never need tightening. Instead, you’ll visit our office every six to eight weeks so Dr. Burneson can monitor your treatment plan.
It’s Easy to Care for Your Smile While Wearing Invisalign
Metal braces limit your diet and they’re difficult to keep free of debris. But Invisalign has removable trays for easy cleaning, allowing you to eat whatever you want.
It’s important to brush your teeth after every meal to prevent food and plaque from getting trapped in your aligners. This will help prevent tooth decay and gum disease. Your aligners should also be cleaned regularly with gentle brushing and rinsing in lukewarm water.
